LexisNexis is proud to have won a 2019 NC Tech Award in the Artificial Intelligence category! A lot of hard work has gone into Context, our award-winning legal language analytics solution, and we're very excited that effort has again been recognized. Learn a little bit more about Context -- what it does and what went into making it a world-class analytics solution:

What is Context?

Context is a powerful, AI-driven solution that delivers insights on judges and expert witnesses to help attorneys best prepare, present and argue their case. Context analyzes tens of millions of court documents (one of the largest collections in the legal research industry) and extracts key information to arm lawyers with contextual knowledge about a judge or expert witness to craft better litigation strategies. Context reveals how a judge has ruled on 100 types of motions and the judges, cases, and texts the judge most commonly relied on in those rulings. Thus, a lawyer can craft their motion with the precise language the judge relies on when weighing points of law. That's a powerful tool.

Language-based Insights on Expert Witnesses

Context for Expert Witnesses also gives you hardest-to-find facts so you can protect your witness in a Daubert challenge and undercut an opposing expert’s credibility.

Only Context for Expert Witnesses uses technology to pinpoint why judges admitted or excluded an expert’s testimony, so you can know in advance how to select the right expert, defend their testimony or impeach opposing counsel’s expert.
