On February 21, 2017, Act 2016-170 goes into effect. It is a comprehensive revision of Pennsylvania law on partnerships and limited liability companies (LLCs). This one-hour webinar is intended to provide attendees with the important changes included in Act 170.
Join Corporation Service Company® (CSC®) for a complimentary webinar by William H. Clark, Jr., partner, Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, and Lisa R. Jacobs, partner, DLA Piper LLP, for an overview of the change and its impacts. Mr. Clark is a legal advisor to CSC and LexisNexis® for their joint publication, Pennsylvania Laws Governing Business Entities. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of Mr. Clark and Ms. Jacobs on the scope and impact of the Act and what you can do to best prepare your clients.
Attendees will leave the program with a better understanding of the changes to Pennsylvania business laws and changes effective February 21, 2017. We will provide an overview of Act 2016-170, including the impacts to PA law on partnerships, charging order, the new full shield provision, impact to agreements, key exceptions, and duties, among other topics.
