Typos

Oh my. It’s my specialty! How important are typos? Are they going to be the death of someone? Should they be? Only a few people know if my resume had a typo on it when I got hired here (I like to think there were NONE) … and I was still hired as the PROOFREADER.

1) It’s hard to proofread your own material.

2) Have several people review what you write.

3) If it’s going to happen – 9 times out of 10, it’s going to happen in the big ‘ol headline.

You can apply these concepts to your everyday material. In the end – focus on the BIGGER PICTURE. I mean, all you really need is a proofreader, right ?    [smile]
