Blow-up yard decorations, “Boo Gifts,” costumes for all ages including pets, and candy all add to the allure and excitement of the one-day holiday we all know as Halloween. And, with the increase in the holiday’s popularity these last few years it has been said that “Halloween has increased in popularity so much that it falls second to only Christmas in terms of total consumer retail spending.”

Really? Is that even possible? And if it I, I beg to ask the question – how, how, how?

$6.9 Billion (that’s billion with a “B” folks) was spent on Halloween in terms of total retail spend in the years 2012 to 2013, ranking Halloween as #8 (out of 9 possible holidays). (This information is according to a CRG article.)

In doing a little research, I thought about some other Halloween trends and decided to create a little quiz so you can test your knowledge about the #8 holiday in the nation. How much do you really know about this creepy holiday? Take the quiz below and find out.

Happy Halloween!
