So I don’t know about you, but how awesome would it be if you walked into work and got to work next to FRANKENSTEIN! ( Disclaimer: Might not be that exciting since the last I heard, the big guy wasn’t much of a talker.) Check that- how about working next to none other than Freddy Krueger. (Actually if you’re working next to him, you must be sleeping and I don’t think your boss would appreciate that.) For some companies, they embrace the Halloween spirit and run with it; the workplace is as lively as, well, a Halloween party. However some workplaces can be as lively as…a zombie apocalypse.
So the question:
What Halloween activities, if anything, do you do at work?
We took a pulse of how festive firms and companies were around Halloween and here were some of the responses we received. The majority mentioned their company allowed them to dress up in costumes, only if they were appropriate. But here were some other responses.
Where Am I? Am I Still At Work?
“Our office has an annual Halloween party for employees' children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, etc., and we have an extraordinary staff member who decorate the entire office and turn it into a Halloween Wonderland, for both the kids' party and for all to enjoy the week or so before Halloween!! It is truly awesome, and EVERYONE looks forward to it every year!” – jrongits zelle
As Time Passes, Traditions Die With It
“In years past, our office used to go all out for Halloween. We hosted a huge party for staff and attorneys' kids. This included an activity such as pumpkin decorating, animated electronic decorations, and catered food. We have scaled back quite a bit, as this entire production was dependent on staff donating personal time to plan and set up everything. Staff are stretched pretty thin now.” - LouisAbrammovitz
Our Office Is As Festive As A Zombie
“Our firm does nothing for the holiday. At all. Ever.” – Thomas S. Anderson

We are totally the zombie place. You would not even know it was Halloween. I am okay with that, but would welcome some firm kiddos to come trick or treat my office!
