1. Crafting your compelling marketing message
One you have an idea of your ideal clientele you have to create your marketing message. This is what you say to others about yourself and what they read in your marketing materials about what you do.
2. State your claim
Your next step is to state your claim or what you stand for or what you want to be known for.
3. Pulling it all together into an ‘elevator pitch’
You final step is taking everything and forming an elevator pitch. This is a marketing term used to describe what you do in a very short amount of time. The objective is that the person will not only want your business card, but will also want to talk to you further.
