You can find your next client anywhere. There are countless opportunities to increase your clients, the catch is how to get them. According to LexisNexis’ Business of Law Blog, here are 3 steps to increase your clients by communicating what you do in a compelling way:

1. Crafting your compelling marketing message

One you have an idea of your ideal clientele you have to create your marketing message. This is what you say to others about yourself and what they read in your marketing materials about what you do.

2. State your claim

Your next step is to state your claim or what you stand for or what you want to be known for.

3. Pulling it all together into an ‘elevator pitch’

You final step is taking everything and forming an elevator pitch. This is a marketing term used to describe what you do in a very short amount of time. The objective is that the person will not only want your business card, but will also want to talk to you further.

Any businessman or woman must be able to sell their idea. For that everyone has to be a salesman in a certain way. 1st impression makes a lasting impression, but the final meet is equally important for closing the deal.
