Product Training & Tips
We are all guilty of making mistakes, especially when it comes to writing. Take for example this excerpt from an article I read a couple weeks ago. I’m not going to name who wrote it or who it was for, but it was the first time in a while that I had to stop and do a double-take as I read an article.
Since technology is in our blood at this point, the pace of our lives has quickened immensely. While this can lead to improvements in some areas of our lives; it leads to declines in others. One example of a decline can be seen in our writing abilities, more specifically our grammar. Due to the more fast-paced lifestyle we have adapted, we have jettisoned our grammar. We have become prone to making some common grammatical errors and we don’t always get caught or may never be accused of them.
What do you think?
Has today's technology-driven society made us passive with our grammar? What grammar mistakes do you still see being made today?
