Tis the season to be jolly…. Wait, we’re already gearing up for the Holidays?! I haven’t even carved the Turkey yet! Yes. Believe it or not Christmas is only 6 weeks away. The holidays serve as the perfect time for businesses to gain new clients. How do you do that? Answer: good marketing. According to an article from PR4Lawyers, here are some ways to publicize your firm during the holidays:
Social Media Marketing
Offer a promotion on each of your social media sites (whether it is “Take 10% off your consultation” or “$50 off services provided”). Another way to gain traffic is to offer contents like “the first so many people to like this page will receive a prize etc.” You want to humanize your company during this time so maybe post some pictures from your company’s Holiday party or recognizing an employee for an award they may have received.
Update your site with a season greetings. This will give your firm a friendly and approachable feeling to visitors. Include holiday-themed advice. Tailor some blog posts to reflect the holiday. You can also create a Specials page that could feature:
• Seasonal advice (i.e. tax information, winter woes such as a slip and fall etc.)
• Links to social media contests
You can send e-newsletters or “Season’s Greetings” email. These emails should reflect the theme of the holiday with proper images and color schemes.
Get your law firm in the press by giving back. Convert your firm into a drop-off center for a non-perishable food drive, a winter coat drive, a toy drive, or a collections center for other items. Maybe donate your services to a non-profit organization as pro bono work. No matter what event you’re at don’t forget to take pictures and share them on your site and other social media platforms.
