You wake up and I bet one of the first things you reach for is the coffee pot. Some of us are driven by caffeine; others are lucky and can get through a day without it. This is for all of you people who love your daily cup (or more) of coffee.  In an article by CBSNews, they listed 5 ways in which you can become more productive without having your daily cup (or more) of coffee:
1. Exercise
This allows you to kill two birds with one stone as exercising will keep you in better shape while also allowing you to feel better based on the endorphins it releases. Feeling better will increase your productivity by keeping you at work more often.
2. Use social media
Use social media to do research or collaborate on projects with others. This can allow you to get more things accomplished in a day.
3. Take a break
Your brain cannot go full-speed all the time so let it take a small break. Read an article unrelated to work. When you are finished your brain will be rejuvenated and ready to get back to full-speed and allow you to get more things finished.
4. Take a (short) nap
Try closing your eyes for a bit, but not for too long. Research shows that a 15-20 minute nap in the afternoon can refresh you and allow you to be more productive afterwards.
5. Schedule a meeting after a project ends
Scheduling a meeting allows you to discuss with others on the project what went wrong and what went right. By addressing these things it allows you to grow and improve your productivity moving forward with future projects.
