According to this New York Post article, if you pass out the usual candy treats this Halloween you may get “tricked” because cash is the golden ticket for trick-or-treaters.
More than half (53%) of parents of trick-or-treaters say their children between the ages of 4 and 10 would prefer cash over candy or even toys, according to a survey of 1,747 parents who celebrated Halloween carried out by coupon- and discount-code website Vouchercloud.net.
I remember the days of Dum Dum pops and apples, and cash treats were quarters. What are you planning to give out to your trick-or-treaters? Does anyone have plans to pass out cash instead of the usual treats?
