(Please visit the site to view this video)Let’s take a look at Lexis Practice Advisor’s powerful Browse and Search tools. Once you have signed in to Lexis Practice Advisor, you are ready to locate the information relevant to the transaction at hand. To start, you should select a sub-topic. This can be done in two ways.
2. As you type, the word wheel, intuitively begins displaying the most logical content based on your entry.
3. You can further refine your search to be as narrow or expansive as you need by selecting relevant filters such as Category Types or Topics (highlighted below in blue).
4. Or, you may choose to simply Browse the Table of Contents to the left of your screen, which is organized for you by key topics and sub-topics (highlighted below in yellow).
5. Once you have made a selection you will be taken to the Snapshot section. (yellow) You are also given options to view all the content by Forms (purple), Practice Notes (green), Cases (pink), Statutes & Legislation (orange), Secondary Materials (red) and Emerging Issues (blue).Find out what else you can do on Lexis Practice Advisor by accessing more how-to posts on LexTalk.
