Moving a research folder into another folder? - Seeking Answers

Could someone tell me how to move a research folder into another folder?  I have a folder called a "RETIRED RESEARCH" folder, where I want to move all of my research folders that are older so that they don't clog up my list of folders and require me to scroll very far down to find the folder to which I want to save a document or snippet.

On the same note, is there any plan to set a default folder like in Westlaw so that when I am in a document and save a clip or the document, it automatically can go to my default folder unless I want to go through the dialogue to select a different one?

Hi there!

According to a member from our customer support team, you can move individual folders into another folder within the 'My Folder' section in the product. (Please note, each screenshots below will enlarge after double-clicking on the image.)

1. To do so, go to ‘My Folders’ and select the folder you want to move in the left-hand column.

2. Click 'Folder Actions,' then select ‘Move’ to another folder from the dropdown.

3. Select the folder you want to move the current folder within, then click OK.

Regarding your question about incorporating a 'default' folder, currently when you are viewing a document and click the folder icon, you are initially presented with a list of your most recently-used folders to choose from. You are able to save your materials to either a specific folder (that you designate as a default folder) or you can organize/file the materials to a specific folder at that time.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please let me know if you should have any additional questions.

Thanks for reaching out! -Amanda Bales
