N.Y. Federal Judge Rules for Catholic Groups on Contraceptive Issue

A federal judge in Brooklyn has issued the first permanent injunction that will block the requirement under the Affordable Care Act that contraceptive care be provided to workers of four nonprofit organizations that are affiliated with the Archdiocese of New York (New York Times article)

While churches are exempt from the mandate involving contraceptive care, how might this decision impact the other 90 or so similar cases that have been filed involving schools, companies and other non-profits?
